There are lots of smartphone companies who offers their phones with different prices and specifications. There is a lot of competition between smartphone companies. So if you wanna buy a new phone, you may get confused. So here I am to help you. Here is the list of top 5 best smartphones of 2016.

1. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

galaxy s7 edgeSamsung has started Edge series last year. This is their 2nd phone of edge series. Every Edge series phone has curved display at the edges. This phone has made the 1st rank in our list. The phone comes with very high-end specs. This phone has an excellent camera, fast performance, stylish looks with good battery backup.

The phone comes with Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 with 534 PPI pixel density, android 6.0 Marshmallow, Snapdragon 820 CPU, Adreno 530 GPU, Micro SD up to 256 GB, 13+5 MP camera, Dual sim and a non-removable Li-ion 3600 mAh battery with Quick charge 2.0.

2. iPhone 6S

iPhone 6S is the best Apple has to offer. Though it was launched last year, but it’s still a popular and powerful phone. It has great performance with really good specs. It comes with 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 750×1334 at 324 PPI pixel density. This is quite a bit low resolution compare to other smartphones, but it does just fine. The iPhone 6S comes with 2 GB of RAM which is double the last year’s iPhone 6. It is powered by an A9 processor. This Phone comes in 16, 32, 64 and 128 GB variants, with no expansion option. iPhone 6S packs a 12 MP primary shooter with 5 MP front camera for selfies. It runs iOS 9 and powered by 1715 mAh battery. This phone has single nano sim. Other features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS also included.

3. LG G5

LG G5LG G5 is most interesting phone of 2016. This phone will surprise you with its modular capabilities. This is LG’s 1st attempt in the direction of making modular smartphones. For those who don’t know what the modular phone means, this is a phone with a capacity of re-swappable units like battery, CPU, cameras. interesting? But LG G5 is not entirely modular phone, we can only swap battery module with a new one.

This phone comes with 5.3-inch display with 1440×2560 resolution, density counts at 554ppi. It is powered by snapdragon 820 CPU, Adreno 530 GPU, and it comes with 4 GB of RAM. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is powered by removable Li-ion 2800 mAh battery with quick charge 3.0. This phone packs 32 GB of internal storage and it can be expanded via micro SD up to 200 GB. LG G5 has dual sim functionality with both Nano sim. As cameras concerned, this phone packs 16 MP primary shooter combined with 5 MP front shooter for selfies, camera features OIS and laser auto-focus for faster focus on objects. Connectivity options like LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, FM also included.

Nexus 6PGoogle Nexus 6P was released last year, but still, it managed a position in our top 5 list. It is my personal favorite smartphone. It has pure stock android, excellent design and builds quality, good camera, fingerprint reader, fast performance with good battery backup, and 1st in line for updates. It is a complete and best package that anyone could offer. In short, it is the perfect smartphone.

Nexus 6P comes with 32, 64, 128 GB of storage options. The display has 1440×2560 (2k) resolution at 518 PPI. The phone comes with android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, but it is upgradable to 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It runs on snapdragon 810 CPU with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The camera counts 12.3 MP with 8.0 MP secondary shooter. The camera features laser autofocus and dual LED flash.Nexus 6P is powered by 3450 mAh battery with fast charging technology. This phone has a USB type C connector.

4. OnePlus 3

OnePlus 3OnePlus has surprised so many smartphone companies by pushing high-end smartphone at the half price. OnePlus 3 is their third attempt to deliver that. The phone has surprised so many peoples with its RAM size. It has an insanely huge amount of RAM about 6 GB.

OnlePlus 3 comes with 5.5 inches 1920×1080 pixel display, which is a bit low than most of the high-end smartphones, but it’s no big deal. This phone also has dual sim functionality with both Nano sim. It runs Oxygen OS. It is powered by snapdragon 820 CPU, Adreno  530 GPU, 64 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM. Camera module rocking a 16 MP primary shooter with PDAF and laser autofocus, and 8MP front selfie shooter. Connectivity option includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS. This phone also have USB type C connector. OnePlus 3 houses a Non-removable Li-ion 3000 mAh battery with Dash charge technology, which can charge the phone up to 60% in half an hour.
