How to Use Recovery Drive or System Repair Disk?

If your computer runs into some problem or fails to boot several times, Windows will automatically bring it to advance startup menu. If it isn’t bringing it to those options then you will need to use recovery disk, installation media or system repair disk.

Attach or insert you recovery media to your PC, your computer will automatically boot from it; if it won’t then you might need to change its boot order. After booting, you can access several options for troubleshooting, resetting your PC, you can also access Advance options.

Advance Startup

You can try resetting your PC, most of the times it should fix your problem. If your PC fails to boot you can also try a system restore or automatic repair. You can also open the command prompt and do it by yourself.

If your PC still runs into a problem, you will need to do a fresh new install of Windows. If you found the above processes difficult then you can use third party Softwares like AOMEI Backupper. It is the best software I have come across to take backup of your system.
